The Bad. The Oscars 2012

So from the good we go to the bad.....

So is this where we say goodbye to the gorgeous Stacey Keibler? She has been wonderful in the role of Clooney's "Trophy" girl for the awards season, but as history shows, they don't normally stick around much longer once that season is over. With that being said, I have not been particularly enamoured by anything she has worn, even though she does look fabulous in almost anything.  I love that being the Clooney's girl allowed her to sit front row at Marchesa, see this dress (you can see it here) and be wearing it on the red carpet 2 weeks later, fair play to the girl, who knows how long that power will last. But after all this talk I hate it. It was ok on the runway because runway shows allow for drama and decadence, here it just looked too much, far too much! George looks good though.

I love Elie Saab, I love Berenice Bejo and I love a red head in green (I'm a red head and know that green is a colour that works!) but I didn't like this! It was too sickly sweet, I just think there were sooo many other dresses from the Elie Saab SS Collection (see my post here) that would have worked better for her than this one.

Now this is a pretty enough dress and on some days I may have actually put it in the good category, but today wasn't one of those days and it's ended up in here! It's just rather nothingy, I'm not keen on the sequin flounces and I really don't like her hair, what has happened too it!? First time I have ever thought that Cameron looks her age.

Why, why, why?! I love Emma Stone and her quirky, sexy sass but this awards season has just not been good on the fashion front for her, in my opinion at least. I just don't understand this dress at all. Nope, don't get it, why? Why would you do it?!

And I can't decide if I hate this more or less?! I know I really don't like it, and I don't like how it clashes with her hair and the carpet - do stars or stylists not think about this before they leave the house for the biggest night in the celeb calendar!? It's kind of similar to Nicole Kidman's Balenciaga from the 2007 Oscars (see it here) and everyone is comparing the two, but to be honest I think Nicole's is by far superior to this version, the dresses are actually rather different, it's just that they are both various red hues and have a bow!

This one disappointed me, after her amazing fashion moment at the SAG awards in that beautiful Collette Dinnigan white dress I had high hopes, and they were seriously dashed. I'm just not keen on the racer style neck or the glitter panels, but what upsets me the most is her hair! It's a beautiful colour, but it looks unfinished, like she had to rush out the door before she was ready because her car was waiting kind of thing. Oh and the smile she had on pretty much all the photos just looked really forced, and she had looked really relaxed and happy at the SAG awards - lets just pretend this didn't happen and focus on that happier time.

Now I just don't like dresses on the red carpet that look like ice skaters outfits. All that nude netting so it looks like its strapless but really it's not, I DO NOT LIKE. Why don't people just wear a really well fitting strapless dress if thats the style you want to wear! Don't get me started on the fringing at the bottom, there are to many things wrong with this dress, I could go on all night.

Similarly to Emma Stone, I have not been over impressed with Michelle Williams choice of outfits over the previous months, and she continued the tradition at the Oscars much to my dismay. I have said before It takes quite a lot for me to like a red dress on the red carpet, so already I wasn't keen when I heard the commentary on Sunday night stating that Williams had arrived and was sporting a red number! I know she is rocking the peplum trend that is very "in" right now but there are too many layers for me, too much going on, Im not keen on the little bow or the pink clutch. When I thought I couldn't dislike it any more I then saw the back and this almost tipped me over the edge.

I think she is going to have to go a long, long way to beat the 2006 Oscar dress and I have always been a fan of her pixie crop hair cut but after looking at that 06 pic I actually miss her hair!

I'm going to be honest, I don't ever really like Natalie Portman's red carpet choices. Everyone always raves about her and what she wears, and while she is very stunning and a fabulous actress I don't think she dresses all that well. I really don't like this, It's vintage Dior and without meaning to sound like a complete bitch I think it should have stayed as vintage and not been worn.

Have you ever seen anyone looks more miserable to be at the Oscars than the Princess of Monaco? She looks like she would be happier anywhere else in the world. But anyway, whatever is going on there is one story and I'm talking about her dress - I don't like it, she's a princess for goodness sake surely she could of had any dress in the world ever and this is what she goes for?! Don't like the hair either, if your going to go for a quiff at least make sure your roots are better than this.

What is this?! When you have got a figure and boobs like the Hayek why the hell do you wear this to the Oscars?!
